Illuminating Kindness: Honoring the Legacy of a 4th Century Saint

This Saturday, November 9 at 6:30 p.m., join us for an incredible free event at Gibsons Heritage Farm, located at 755 Henry Road (at Russell). We’re thrilled to celebrate the Feast of St. Martin, inspired by a delightful idea from my friend Sarah Noni. She shared the magical memories of her time in Germany, where the festival was filled with lantern-making, storytelling, and community parades.

We’ll kick off the evening by gathering around a bonfire to sing songs and enjoy a captivating retelling of St. Martin's story, feature performances from our talented actors. Kids can bring their handmade lanterns or borrow one from us. Plus, we’ll even include a parade led by our charming mini horse, Pickle! And of course, there will be sweet treats and cozy warm drinks to enjoy as we come together.

Donations will be accepted to benefit the ministries of St. Bartholomew’s Anglican, and we encourage everyone to bring warm hats, scarves, and gloves for those in need. All are welcome—let's celebrate the light together!
